As you feel better, you will find it easier to see something else you love about your work. What if you don’t find one positive aspect of your current job? If you do not change the way you feel about your current job, you will only be attracted to another sad job.
A New Way Of Thinking
"Sometimes it's easier to imagine yourself in a new way of thinking, than to think of yourself in a new way of doing things." -Jo Berry, author Years ago, in Los Angeles, California, I overheard Jo Berry talking about how to end a bad habit. Jo asked his audience, “How long have you been thinking about quitting? Is there anything good you have done just thinking about it? ”At the time, I was thinking and thinking about quitting.
A New Way Of Thinking
No matter how much I thought about quitting, I hadn't had a single day in over ten years without a cigarette. (Now, by understanding how the Law of Attraction works, I can see that by “removing” a practice, I was strengthening it.) Jo told us that if we begin to LOVE AS WE WANT to be or do, then thoughts and feelings will follow. Suddenly, I realized that I could quit smoking by acting as a nonsmoker. Indeed, the next question was, "How do you smoke?" Immediately followed, “What do you do without smoking with your hands?” The answer came very gently: "Fold your hands." I realized that folding my arms in search of a cigarette was figurative and appropriate! And it worked.
A New Way Of Thinking
I have never had a cigarette or been looking for it since September 13, 1976. Instead of trying to change your mind about your job, start by getting your own picture of how you feel about the job. What would you say or do differently? Try ACTING in a new way and realize how much better you feel. Soon you will find yourself in a good position to hear, give new vibrations that will attract a variety of situations in your current career or you will find yourself working in a new place that feels great!
